Jewellery Making

Helen hand makes all her individually designed pieces of jewellery in her Suffolk workshop. The process starts by experimenting with models and drawings to obtain new exciting ideas. Inspiration can be found in many places for her work, including nature, water and paper folding.

Moving into the workshop, she uses traditional techniques such as hand piercing, soldering and hammering to produce her one off hand made jewellery.

Helen graduated from Rochester university for the creative arts with a first class hon's in 2009. She has won ten awards from the prestigious Goldsmiths' company over the last three years, including Gold's, Silvers and Commendations. Helen was also awarded numerous bursaries while at university to help fulfil her designs to the making stage.
